Jessica Pepple for At-Large Councilor

From Vision to Victory

Our Vision: A Worcester That Works for Everyone

Worcester is a city rich with culture, resilience, and opportunity—but we know there’s still work to do. My campaign is rooted in the belief that when we listen to all voices, invest in our people, and lead with equity, we can build a city where everyone has the chance to thrive.

Together, we will:

  • Champion affordable housing and protect residents from displacement
  • Support small businesses and drive inclusive economic growth
  • Prioritize public safety with community-led solutions
  • Invest in education, youth programs, and workforce development
  • Strengthen city services to be more responsive and accessible
  • Uplift historically marginalized communities and ensure every neighborhood has a seat at the table

This isn’t just a campaign—it’s a movement to shape the future of Worcester through collaboration, compassion, and courage.

Let’s build a better Worcester—together.

Meet Jessica Pepple

I’m an educator, advocate, and equity-driven leader who’s spent my career creating spaces where every voice is heard and every person feels seen. I’ve worked alongside students, families, and community leaders to tackle tough conversations around belonging, equity, and justice—and to turn those conversations into real change.

I’ve been shaped by the urgent need to build bridges where there are divides, to create accountability where it’s been missing, and to always push for what’s best for Worcester. I believe we don’t just need change—we need something and someone new.

My doctoral research—“Supporting the Lone Black Educator by Cultivating Allies and Co-Conspirators”—reflects the heart of my work: forging real connections, empowering communities, and leading with courage.

Now, I’m running for City Councilor At-Large to bring that leadership to City Hall—and to build a Worcester that truly works for all of us.

Let’s build it together.

Dedicated Issues

Issues That Matter to Worcester—and to Me

Our city is full of potential, but too many residents still face barriers to opportunity, safety, and stability. As your next City Councilor At-Large, I’m committed to addressing the issues that impact our everyday lives:

  • Affordable Housing & Housing Security: Ensuring every resident has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing—because housing is a human right.
  • Economic Equity: Supporting local businesses, workforce development, and inclusive economic growth that benefits all neighborhoods.
  • Education & Youth Empowerment: Investing in schools, afterschool programs, and opportunities that help our young people thrive.
  • Public Safety & Community Well-Being: Advocating for safety strategies rooted in community trust, mental health support, and prevention—not just policing.
  • Racial Equity & Inclusion: Dismantling systemic barriers and ensuring every resident feels seen, heard, and represented in city decisions.
  • Accountable, Transparent Government: Bringing city leadership closer to the people it serves through honest dialogue, responsible policy, and action.

Worcester deserves leadership that’s bold, responsive, and rooted in community. These are the issues I’m ready to tackle—side by side with you.
